ABOUT / A PROJECT BY LOCAL ROBOT

A LITTLE HUMAN.
A LITTLE ROBOT.

Singing Robots is a home for virtual voices, familiar songs, and the creative work that brings them together.

BEHIND THE VOICES

THE VOICE IS VIRTUAL.
THE CURIOSITY IS HUMAN.

A voicebank starts with recorded sounds. A song takes shape through notes, words, timing, and expression. Somewhere between the two, a character starts to sing.

That is what Singing Robots is here to explore. Created by Local Robot, this collection brings together UTAU covers, OpenUtau projects, and visualizers that let you follow the music as it happens.

Some songs call for a big chorus. Others need a quieter moment. The fun is in finding a new performance inside a song you already know—and sharing enough of the process for someone else to try.

A SCORE BECOMES A STAGE / AFTERGLOW

SOUND, IN FULL COLOR

WATCH THE
MELODY MOVE.

The visual language comes from the music itself: pitch lanes, a moving playhead, a distinct color for each voice. The singer stays in focus while the score tells its own story.

SHARE THE PROCESS

GOOD THINGS
START WITH A NOTE.

The USTx library is an invitation to experiment. Pick a project, make it fit your singer, and give the performance your own point of view.

Keep the credits with the music.

Every cover starts with someone else’s song. We credit the original artists and the people behind the MIDI, vocal projects, voicebanks, and instrumental sources.

When you use a shared USTx, include the credits listed with the download and check the terms for the voicebank and other materials you use.
